Mobile echo dense mass attached to valvular/mural endocardium, or to implanted material

Paravalvular fistulae or abscess formation

New disruption or dehiscence of a prosthetic valve (paravalvular leak)

  1. Even if echocardiography alone cannot be used to make diagnosis of infective endocarditis, combination of clinical-instrumental-microbiological criteria with detection of at least one of these findings does
